We would like to immortalize the Mozart clarinet concerto on vinyl

Sometimes it happens: a concert, an evening, a room, and suddenly everything is so dense, so concentrated that you get the impression that music can stop time. This is exactly what happened in December 2024 in the Chamber Music Hall of the Philharmonie Berlin. We were there. We recorded it. Now we want to capture this unique experience – not as an upload that is evaluated by an algorithm, but as something that carries weight:

1000 records, in a double pack, each with enclosed CD

Education

Insights into our
education program

Pupils from Melanchthongymnasium Berlin Marzahn composed impressive string quartets as part of the Berlin Symphony Chamber Orchestra’s “Schumann-Nystedt-Schönberg” education project In a workshop concert, a quartet of orchestra members played the pieces by the young composers, giving them direct access to their own music. The school classes also attended rehearsals and a concert of Schumann’s “Paradise and the Peri”.

About us

The orchestra

The Sinfonisches Kammerorchester Berlin (SKOB) was founded in 2019 by musicians from Berlin to create a flexible ensemble with a chamber music sound ideal. The orchestra passionately combines classical-romantic repertoire and contemporary music, delighting audiences and critics alike. In addition to performances in the Philharmonie and Konzerthaus Berlin, the SKOB is involved in educational projects in schools and works with renowned choirs. The orchestra is supported by a dedicated management team and the strong community spirit of its members.
